I love quesillo and when I saw it on Amazon I decided to buy it. I thought it was quite expensive but I had received a gift card and decided to treat myself. I liked the flavor of the cheese and it melts great when making quesadillas but at this price I won’t buy it again.
This is the real deal. Very authentic and fresh Oaxaca cheese as I used to buy in Mexico. It is excellent for quesadillas or by itself as a snack. Also to melt over pasta, enchiladas, or any dish that is topped with cheese. You can pull the cheese "strings" as it should be vs. the store bought that is all melted in one piece and you need to cut with a knife. If you cannot unravel the cheese all the way... is not a real Oaxaca. This one from Real de Oaxaca is!
