Flavorful and great onions for cooking. Worth the cost

I purchased these onions because my family loves onion with almost everything. These are advertised as “sweet” onions, and that implies they are good sliced with sandwiches, and for chopped toppings on a variety of foods. These onions are so hot and the taste is so strong, I can only use them in cooked dishes. This had to be a mistake, and I know you will want to check on this before sending more orders out to other customers.

Not even close to sweet onions. I thought I was ordering Maui onions, but these have not flavor. Wasted time and money making french onion soup which tasted like broth.
I was leary but ended up very happy. The onions came in a reasonable time, packed in a box and all were very good. They were large, firm, ripe but not overripe. There were at least 8 onions. They were sweet onions and the most delicious we have had in a long time. Great buy!!

I bought these at the height of the pandemic, and if it had been any other scenario I wouldn't have. Still, Amazon had them available so I went for it. What I received was a box of loose onions that had beaten against each other in shipment, each onion bruising all the others as they shifted around. I had to throw out one onion as it leaked onion juice into the box. My recommendation: buy onions at the grocery store when you can, or buy onion powder. Don't buy these. 2/5*
