Berruto Individual Pasta Cups are a quick, convenient and tasty meal that you can enjoy at home or when you are on the go. There are eight 2.4 ounce containers included in one order. I got the Italian Tagliatelle with Creamy Mushroom Sauce. The manufacturer posted two methods to prepare the pasta. One way is to peel back the plastic lid, pour boiling hot water (185 degrees F) until you reach the fill line in the cup, stir, and leave to stand for 3 minutes, stir again, and then enjoy. I tried this method first. I followed the directions to the letter with boiling hot water fresh from the whistling kettle. Do not use this method. The noodles were nowhere near al dente and the water did not thicken in the slightest. To save the meal, I removed the plastic lid and microwaved it for 1 minute. Thankfully, this did the trick. The noodles plumped up and the mushroom sauce was creamy as described. It was delicious and unlike other noodle cups that require adding water, this was not nearly as salty. The other way you can make this recipe is by removing the plastic lid entirely, adding room temperature water to the fill line on the inside of the cup, stir well, microwave at full power for 3 minutes, stir, and enjoy. These instructions made a hot cup of delicious instant pasta. There are 260 calories in one cup, 50 grams of Total Carbohydrates, and 9 grams of Protein. The manufacturer noted that there are no preservatives or palm oil and the noodles are not fried. The ingredients included are recognizable. Some of the ingredients include: pasta, mushrooms, porcini mushrooms, onion powder, and garlic powder. The manufacturer noted that this product may contain soy, egg, and nuts. If you have an allergy to any or all of these items, please be aware. This was Made in Italy. The expiration date for the product I received is 10 months from the date I received it. I think this is a delicious meal when you are too busy to cook and don't want to go out. Just make sure you have a microwave to cook this item!
I was looking forward to giving these pasta cups a try, but I’m pretty disappointed. They are pretty bland and salty, and the texture of the cooked noodles could be better. I did not find the sauce to be that creamy, and there was very little mushroom flavor. In addition, it required more cooking time than the directions said. I think it took more like 5 minutes than 3. These are also pretty expensive at $5 per cup. Granted, even if they were $1 a cup, I wouldn’t order this again. I had to add a bunch of other stuff to this to make it taste passable enough for me to be willing to eat it. If you’re looking for a convenient and easy to make cup of salty noodles, though, maybe this would be for you.
 ​This pasta cup does indeed have a distinctive flavor. I had never tried anything from Italy before but was delightfully surprised by the quality. Everything just melts in your mouth during the first mouthful, and you might ultimately end up eating the entire cup! It's absolutely fantastic. I love how you can prepare this in a jippy and then have it ready to eat in around 5 minutes! I'd give this product a five-star rating overall.
I love pasta and was excited to try this when I received it. There are two methods of preparation and I've tried both ways. One way is to boil water, fill the cup to the fill line, stir, and let sit for 3 minutes. The other way is to fill the cup to the fill line, put in microwave for 3 minutes, then stir. It came out better using boiling water but in a pinch the microwave way works almost as well. My first issue, and quite a big one to me anyway, is that I received these past their best by date. I received these on March 1st 2022 and the best by date on all the cups is January 12th 2022 so not just a couple days. Unfortunately, I didn't notice the best by date until I had already ate 3 of theses. I would never buy something past it's best buy date. I would consider this product expired. This leads me in to my other issue with these. The taste is just OK. I've had much better "pasta in a cup" but the reason these taste just OK may be completely related to the product being past it's best by date. It smells really good but the taste is almost bland, there's just not much flavor there. I have to say that these are not worth what they are currently priced. Even if the flavor was better it would have to taste like restaurant quality to be worth what's it's priced per cup. Maybe the flavor is so bland because of it being past it's best by date. Overall, I had high hopes for these and was really looking forward to trying these but the flavor just isn't there for me. Again, maybe a lot of the flavor loss is related to the product being expired which is very unfortunate. If you do decide to get these cups check the bottom when you receive them to make sure they're not expired like mine are.

Don't waste your money...especially since they're a no-return item. (Didn't realize it.) I should have listened to other reviewers. The 'gravy' is this nasty color and the pasta never got done. Tried a bite, just to make sure, and spit it out. AND to top it all off, they're VERY expensive for what they are. BTW would have given no stars, but it wouldn't post unless I rated it.
Everytime I eat these pasta cups I need to add more seasoning. The flavor is very subtle. Little kids may like it. I also added shredded chicken which tasted great.
I really like the flavor of these creamy mushroom sauce tagliatelle cups. My personal preference is for a bit more salt but that's easy enough to fix. Surprisingly, though, there's already 33% of recommended daily intake of salt. Probably not a good choice for someone on a low sodium diet. Most prepared foods aren't though. They aren't loaded with mushrooms but there is enough to give a nice earthy flavor. They use a mix of "mushrooms" unspecified type and porcini mushrooms. The pasta is a nice consistency and is done really well. The cooking directions say let it sit 3 minutes after adding boiling but I found 5 minutes was needed for al dente. The portion size would be pretty adequate for children or younger teens, adults may need a little more. The serving size is 2½ ounces (70g). The one reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because they cost $5.00 per cup which is a tad expensive for that serving size. They are pretty tasty though and very convenient.
