This is a review on the product and not the seller. Udon is a type of noodle and they definitely do not use udon noodles. They use cheap ramen noodles in a similar broth you would eat actual udon noodles in. For the price definitely not worth it

I was hoping for a quick way to get udon noodles for lunch, but these look exactly like ramen noodles. The taste was OK, especially if you add togarashi or shichimencho to it.
The noodles aren't udon-they're regular noodles, need to be much wider. Tastes ok. Contains 57%(1370mg) sodium, 3g sugar, 5g protein, 360 calories (140 from fat).
I really would be very happy if they went back to the original recipe from like 3 years ago. It is now overwhelmed with green onion and the tempura had more flavor and a nicer texture and I really loved the pink and white fishy circles that they now have taken away .The texture of the noodle is doesn't have to same bite and becomes too mushy over time. I do a few things to make the soup edible. I take out as many green onions prior to adding water as possible. It's not just that there is too much onion, the onion has a stringy texture too so it helps tremendously to remove it. ( not just from the cup itself but also from the packet) I add slightly more water than the indicator line and add a few drops of soy sauce for flavor. I eat stir and eat faster than the recommended time because as I noted before the noodles become too soft and they taste better with a little more firmness. When I do all this the broth is very good to me. Yes it's slightly fishy and I love that. It isn't spicy at all and I kind of wish it had a very little spice. I may try it with some red pepper flakes or siracha and see what happens but I hesitate because I don't want to ruin or waste it. Yes it is very expensive but like I say it is the best instant I have found so far.
Buying food on line is a tricky business. I ordered a six pack of Tempura Udon soup as shown in the ad picture. Upon receiving the box I discovered that the cup picture as shown was not complete. Out of sight, on the right hand side of the picture, and in very small print, is the word "Flavored". The cup just contains Raman noodles! What a disappointment.
