I really like mandarin oranges. I saw these at the store and thought, yes! That is exactly what I want. I just want oranges. Naively, I assumed that "no sugar added" meant "no sugar added TO THE ORANGES" which I then reasoned meant, "JUST ORANGES." I didn't read the ingredients because it seemed so clear in my mind. And then I tasted the oranges, which tasted distinctly of artificial sweetener. At that point, I did look at the ingredients. Which include two artificial sweeteners, including Splenda. Obviously it's not brand name Splenda, because there's no fancy Splenda logo on the outside. Del Monte, I DO NOT WANT SPLENDA IN MY ORANGES. I don't want to unknowingly eat artificially sweetened oranges only to realize after I taste them that they are artificially sweetened. It makes me sick. I used to drink a sugar free hot chocolate at work every day, and every day an hour later, I would get excruciating stomach pains. It took me entirely too long to connect the two. Splenda and I can usually get along, but some advance warning would be nice. Also oranges don't need Splenda. Stop it.
Tasty yes, but this product has artificial sweeteners. Why couldn't they make something with out this danger so I could feel good about giving it to my toddlers.

awful... they taste artificial... AND whenever you open one up half the juice come splattering all over you.
I thought that "No Sugar Added", and the promise of "No Preservatives" would mean that they were the health conscious choice. They have ((Artificial Sweeteners (Acesulfame Potassium, Sucralose)), these chemicals make the oranges taste not right and I feel make the boast of "No Sugar Added", quite misleading.

Sold me product that expires in 2 weeks after purchase date. Did not realize until just now — probably have been feeding my child expired fruit for some time now. VERY UPSET.
Was expecting it to be real sweet with added sugar but to my pleasant surprise these were not. 5 stars.
