I received this coloring book and immediately went to coloring in it! The paper it is printed on is awesome and takes pencil, gel pens or chalk very well. The illustrations are so whimsical and fun. I have even framed a few of them that i have completed. I intend to eventually have all of these Kaisercolour Perfect Bound Coloring Books. They are just adorable!! Highly recommend them to anyone who cares about quality and loves whimsical art.

I just received this book about 10 minutes ago and I am so disappointed. All of the pictures are double sided. The book is a very unusual size, so you can't even copy a single page to color in hopes of not destroying the picture in the reverse side. Aside from that, the paper is a very nice, heavy weight, bright white. I am sure that it will take pencils well, but wouldn't use markers for fear of destroying the picture on the back of the page. The art is nice, but for this price, I won't be purchasing other books from this publisher unless they begin to print the artwork single sided.

This is an awesome journal block that is multi-functional. Ideal for stamping, it can also be used for a straight line, measuring, creating wavy edges and doodling template.
