Umeboshi plums are wonderful. Eden makes some of the best, plump and juicy. They are fantastic for beating heartburn and I love the flavor on corn on the cob!

Love these! Always taste great! Very sour! Thank you! Domo arigato!
This tastes nothing like traditional Japanese umeboshi. It is overly salty making that the predominant flavor. It’s like eating a blob of mushy salt.
This product is not edible. I am unable to get a refund and it was very expensive. I will not purchase this product from this company again!

Ordered the pickled plum as it stated product was made in Japan. Was extremely disappointed to find product origin is China. Definitely would not have paid the premium had I known.

Have tried many umeboshi brands, both from artisanal shops in Kyoto and also ordinary supermarkets in Tokyo and US. This is by far the most painfully salty. Almost inedible. However it has no artificial dyes (which is hard in the US to find online) and for this reason I am keeping it and soaking the salt out in water before using. Of course this also sacrifices flavor! Won't buy again.

Not gonna lie, these are too sour for me now, but when I was younger I ate tons of these. I tasted one again recently and it’s way too potent, but it’s exactly what it’s supposed to be!
