I used this on my bass boat that sits in the sun a lot each summer. I applied it with a random orbit buffer. I have tried rubbing compound and polishing compound and this product outperformed both of them. I then applied a good marine wax and my 1997 bass boat looks like new.
For the initial polishing, I used a more aggressive grit and this one for the mirror finish of my cars 20+ year old paint.
