I bought this to reduce the hum on an amplifier for a guitar it worked no hum that I can hear on the clean Channel and very little hum using distortion. The amp is a fender frontman and I'm using a pedalboard with five petals and a true bypass switch. Even with running the pedalboard there is no hum unless I use my distortion pedal which is normal the distortion pedal is a metal muff. Make sure all your equipment for your amp is plugged into the Furman I have even plugged in my computer to the Furman for recording I do not know if it is true but I have heard it is a good idea to have everything in one Loop meaning all the way from amp, pedalboard, computer, and recording equipment running through the Furman.

some people say they work, they prob do for a house but in apartment or town homes buildings i can guarantee they will be worse then normal. if you want to get passed that, purchase the 250+$ ones.

Plugged this guy up and my internet router to it for power. Has made a difference at least seem to be staying online with a 40% better connection. Note: I live in rural environment with noisy power it has helped in my situation your mileage will/may vary as there are too many variables why your ISP can or can't deliver.
Very well built. Designed in USA is great, made in China not so much. But it seems to work great so far and the placement of plugs and hardcore design are excellent. No more noise coming from my speakers or my Roland piano. Cool.
