These are great connectors. I used them to make a "quick-disconnect" for my generator battery. The battery stays in the garage on a charger until the generator is needed. All I have to do is plug the battery into the mating connector on the generator and push the 'start' button. When generator usage is done, the battery gets unplugged and put back on the charger. I didn't bother trying to crimp the pins, solder works much better. Put the pins in a metal vice, use a pencil-flame propane torch to heat them up, fill with solder, stick wire in solder pool, remove heat. Use heatshrink to cover the exposed part of the pin.

I thought this was what I needed. I watched the install You Tube and spent 2 days fighting with the install. The connection on one end just would NOT "click into place" as the video showed! Since the seller sends ONLY the bear minimum of the light weight connectors I was forced to be ultra careful so no mistakes were made. After much careful filing and grinding over and over again it finally "snapped" in to place. GREAT, I thought....then I realized the plug was faulty and not working. So .... I start over again but I will not start over with this ...."product".... and that is being nice!
