I have a hard time understanding what anyone would use the smallest magnets in this kit for. They are so small as to be not only usable only for very specific and highly delicate small-scale applications, but I think they're dangerous to have around kids in general. These are so small, they're even smaller than almost every drug/pill I have ever seen. I didn't do a lot of research on the actual sizes listed and I can't complain about any fraudulence or anything like that with regard to the company and their description of these products, I just can't stress again how incredibly small the smallest magnets are. Truly powerful magnets however, and the largest of these are in constant use on our refrigerator. If you're looking for incredibly small magnets for some kind of specific purpose, you should give it a shot. If you're looking for a basic set for your kids to play with or for you to play with, I strongly suggest you look at something that limits the smallest size to considerably larger than these.

I got these for a DIY cell phone magnetic mount. These are not what you want. The magnets work well for smaller projects, holding items on the fridge, etc. Wish they would put what grade these magnets were in the description.

I used them to hang up clear plastic curtains on my opened garage to block the flies during a gathering. They were very strong and worked beautifully...but be careful they are fragile if dropped...I'm happy with my purchase though.

These are very strong magnets for their size and weight. Even with the spacers they shipped with, it was difficult to slide them apart. PERFECT for my application. Only caution is that they can snap in two. I mis-handled one of them and it broke, bonus, I now have two smaller magnets.
