I am making wedding cards and I am printing the saying on some very nice pearl rice paper. I have never been able to cut out the card before using my cutter. These blades are fantastic, they cut through this very difficult paper without any tearing! Best blades ever!
I couldn't make one pass through anything with these blades! Thick or thin. Brand new strong grip mat and brand new blades. They just drag across either cutting, but leaving a jagged edge or not cutting all the way through at all. I should have saved the packaging so I could have sent them back!
Edited 1/11/2020: these blades are DEFINITELY NOT deep cut blades. I purchased the Cricut deep cut blade because I was having too much trouble cutting leather with these blades. I visually compared this blade to the cricut deep cut and to the cricut fine point blade. This blade is the same angle and thickness as the fine point blade which explains why it would be HORRIBLE in cutting anything thicker than basic card stock. No point in having a cheap blade if you're gonna destroy your material cutting it out. At least now, I have 5 extra fine point blades. Original review: I bought these blades to cut leather and they didn't cut very well at all. Lots if skips and pulling material. Yes. I ensured to properly place the leather and even increased the pressure...which made it worse. I'll experiment some more...maybe it's me being new to Cricut and I haven't found that right touch. If it turns out to be my mistake, I will definitely increase my rating.

In comparison with Cricut deep point blades refill pack, the Miss Kate cuttable brand ones are less sharp. They are both with 60 degree angles but the Cricut brand is thicker and more durable after all. I like the Miss Kate cutrable brand for its reasonable price-it comes down to $3.40 per blade ($16.99 for a pack of 5) v.s. when the Cricut brand is on sales for 40% off, it comes down to $4.50 per blade ($8.99 for a pack of 2). For better cutting result for 65 lbs Cardstock paper, I’d recommend to go with the Cricut brand (so you won’t waste your paper material if the cuts failed). I have uploaded some pictures for comparison: I tested it out with both brands, brand new blades on the same cutting mat with the same Cardstock material __you get what you pay
