First look for is is how they stand out from any other I have with a look of quality without being gaudy or cheap looking. Most of my others are have the "granite" coating which is OK but made from aluminum, these have a nice weight to them without being too heavy and the smooth rounded shape going into the base, also makes it easier to stir and clean. My first use was lentils and rice which I overloaded the Misen 3 QT but cleaning was just a spray rinse then soapy water and sponge and it was clean. I let it rack dry which did leave some water spots so if you like to hang it like a showpiece when not in use, I would suggest towel drying it. These truly are a work of art and quality.

Just picked up two units - the Industry 5 and the Atlantis 5 - both in the 3.5 quart Saucier. The lid is too small and there is a clear gap between the lid and the saucier. You can see inside the saucier. The Industry 5 lid actually fits. Photo on left shows the Industry 5 and on the right shows the Atlantis Saucier. For cookware in this price range ($249 for the 3.5 qt) this not acceptable.

I received this as a gift and use it constantly. Its shape and size are impressively versatile and perfect for just about anything - I do stir-frys, soups, sauces, and stews in it. I have a gas range and it cooks evenly. I'm looking to buy the smaller size to round out my pot collection. I expect both pieces together will cover just about any day to day cooking I can think of. One of this pan's best features is its easy clean-up. I have a lot of cast iron enamelware and never expected a metal pot would be as easy to clean, but I'm so impressed by this one. I've had it about a year and it still looks great. I sear messy foods in it with no worries about a long clean-up - 10 minute soak is all you need. The pan lid is fairly light duty, but I've never found it to be inadequate. If you're looking for a solid, well-made piece to handle the bulk of your cooking, look no further.
I so regret having spent so much money on a pot that doesn’t serve my needs. Heating up liquids like milk in this pot almost always leads to a spill over, because it quietly cooks. No warning that it is cooking and about to spill over.
Easy to clean and distributes heat very evenly for consistent cooking. The finish of the Atlantis line is superior, making it a breeze to clean. This saucier meets the same high standard of the rest of the Atlantis line.
I finally broke into the world of induction cooking; This pan fit the bill! It's lid has a silicone rim, just like my Calphalon set, that won't cook induction. There are several raised nubs on the cover, which allow the steam to vent, while the silicone rim, protects the finish of the non-stick inside the pot. Very sturdy, well-constructed series of cookware! And the box is double corrugated to keep it safe, until it gets to you....
So I've been buying a variety of Misen products for years. Some from crowdfunding, some from Misen directly, and some from Amazon. Some have been hits, some have been misses. All of the pans have been hits in terms of heft and heat retention. When they are new they cook like a champion. So far this saucier seems excellent. It's a good size. The nonstick is excellent. However that was my experience with my 10" and 12" nonstick pans from them. After a year both of those weren't all that nonstick anymore which was disappointing since they cost more than other brands whose nonstickness lasted longer. I always handwashed them with nonstick-safe cleaning tools and soap. I never used anything but nonstick-safe tools with them. It didn't matter. On the 10" pan the rivets came loose. I had different issues with the coating on a Misen dutch oven. One measure of a company is not just how well the products hold up but how the company responds when they don't. To Misen's credit they just needed photo and video proof and they replaced the defective items for free. Nonetheless I am wary moving forward. I decided to give this saucier a chance to see if they improved their quality control, and because I loved the previous pans when they were new. Hopefully this stays at 5 stars and I won't need to update my review.

This pan has amazing heat distribution and heats up so fast. I purchased the same size 3 QT pan from the same line, but the "flatter" sauté version. I wanted this as more of a sauce pan and I feel like it is the perfect size for any meal. This pan is HEAVY in all the best ways. The solid core allows me to use is on my ceramic cooktop and on my induction burner. I have yielded the best results on my induction burner as it heats up faster and more evenly. But the nice thing is that this pan is compatible with all cooktops. This pan cleans up easily as the non-stick coating does an amazing job. You can literally rinse it with hot water and it cleans it up in seconds. The bottom will get pretty dirty if you don't make sure to clean it after every meal, but that will not affect the overall function of the pan. I love the lid that came with it because the rim is covered in silicone and it doesn't clank down on the pan. It also protects the non-stick from chipping. Overall, If you are in the market for a non-stick pan, Misen is a great starting point. Their pans are excellent quality that you can see and feel. I have no regrets with this pan.
