I have several calibration weights, 50g, 100g, 500g and 1kg. I was asked to recalibrate a scale that required a 200g weight so I ordered this one. The price was attractive and I had no reason to suspect anything would be different from all the other weights in my shop. The picture I uploaded says it all. The base of the weight is unfinished and not smooth. It wobbles and stands crooked on the scale throwing off the measurement. It pretends to be high quality and even comes with a little foam lined, sized to fit, semi hard protective case but this too was not held to a high standard in its production and the foam in uneven, the case feels flimsy and I do not trust it. I'm not even convinced this is precisely 200g considering the excess metal protruding from the bottom of the weight. Is this metal in addition to the 200g or part of the 200g? What about the obvious divot in the base where the core can be seen? Should this missing material be there for the weight to equal 200g? I don't know but either way I am returning it and looking for another weight of the same quality as my others. Do not buy

Nice variety in weights and decent enough plastic storage box (received mine intact). I'm uncertain of precision of each weight (assuming the +/- 0.003 grams in the description is correct) but for my purpose it should be close enough.

This is the perfect weight for calibrating your scales. You don't need a whole set of weights. 100 gram weight is just right. And it comes with a case. The case was the big reason I purchased it. I would recommend this product.

I’m using this to calibrate an electronic scale. Unfortunately the scale I have requires a 200 gram weight for calibration procedure, and the supplied weight is 500 gram.... Not going to work! Used this weight for calibration and my scale is now accurate to within 1/100th of a gram.
The case is nice and keeps everything well organized and allows an easy grasp of each weight piece. It comes with a set of plastic tweezers, but not sure what they are needed for. My only complaint is two of the smaller weights, both 20 grams, are stamped so lightly that they are hard to read, if at all. A very minor inconvenience but a dead giveaway that this set is not for ultra ultra high precision measuring. My scale weighed all of them to within 1/1000th of a gram, which is quite accurate for those of us not trying to split the atom. I recommend buying this for the average user at a decent price.

I ordered 2 of these and one if them was new and have no issues with that. However one of them was clearly used and abused. There are multiple dents in the weight and it doesnt weigh out to exactly 200 grams, although it is pretty close, not what i would expect from a new percision weight.

Right on the money as far as actual weight and classic weight look. On first arrival I was so upset when I opened it's box as first thing you see is plastic white screaming back at you that it's definitely not the shiny silver you had thought you had ordered. I removed it from it confinement and found the white plastic was only the case that I didn't know came with the weight itself. Great value!
