I am a professional detailer and I've been using this product for a while. Since most reviews are from costumers that only use it a few times a month, I am going to give my point of view as a professional detailer that works with this filter multiple times a week. You can use it with about 4-5 cars while getting readings at 0 ppm and the results are really good. From then on, you're going to have readings on the lower end (1-7) for another 3-4 cars. From then on you have to keep an eye on water spotting to determine when to change filters. CR Spotless recommends changing filters with readings of 3ppm but for the prices that the Resin/Refill goes for, it's completely unsustainable to do so and that's the MASSIVE con about it; The resin refill for this unit costs $149.00 and makes this product very costly to maintain, specially as a professional. You spend $400+ on the unit and $149/month makes it almost $1,800.00/year only on resin. (using it for longer than recommended by CR spotless, with readings above the recommended 3PPM otherwise you would have to replace the resin twice a month at least making your early cost up to a ludicrous $3,600.00/year) Overall it's a great product but I wish the company offered a better/cheaper option for the resin required for it's maintenance.

My water has a PPM of 437 on average. With the resin provided I was able to rinse my car 4 times before the PPM started reading 3. Basically just $75 each rinse.

The photo shows a wall mount unit that uses 10 inch canisters. This High Output unit actually uses the 20 inch canisters. Be careful reading product descriptions. Best bet to go to the CR web site (crspotless.com to get correct information.

Not sure how many washes I'm gonna a get out of this before I need to replace the filters, but seeing as I only use it for the final quick rinse, it should last a few months from what I've heard. Foamed, cleaned and rinsed my car. Then ran the water thru spotless for the final quick rinse. Left the car out in the Florida sun without drying it. It dried to perfection. Not a single water spot Not even on my windows which I always have to come behind and clean to wipe away the hard water spots. Great product. Man I hope these filters last a while because I would hate to have to spend $100+ a month exchanging them. Great product!!
