I bought these because my kids wanted to learn to hand embroider and I got tired of constantly rethreading the strings. 3 out of my 4 sons had theirs snap within minutes of use. I wish they were stronger because it would have really saved me some time. But for now I would rather just rethread every 3 minutes until they figure it out on their own... they might eventually, right?
I was really hopeful these needles would help with my eye problems..and they are easy to get the thread on but otherwise worthless for sewing! After 10 or so regular stitches they have frayed and destroyed the thread, the holes must be jagged or too sharp and have not been polished. Even when I held the needle carefully so the thread did not move around it still cut through it with normal stitching. Unusable...good for nothing... I would give them a minus if I could.
