I was suffering from a really bad sinus infection, my mom bought this and it cleared and moistened my stuffy nose. I couldn't even breath out my nose it was so bad. I had been using a saline only spray and it didn't help. And when this drains down your throat, it's sweet. I am so impressed, I wish I had this at the start of my infection, I bet it wouldn't have suffered as much the last week.

I have post nasal drip and this product seems to work better than the other sprays that I have tried. Works thruout the day.
I've been using this for years and like it very much as an alternative to the harsh nasal sprays that constrict blood vessels and have warnings to use only for short periods of time. Those type also get me too hyper. This product is all natural and clears the nasal passages. It won't keep them clear as long as the chemical types, but I'm willing to make that compromise. I also use a nasal rinse occasionally. When I"m having allergy congestion, I use this a couple times a day and at night before bed.
Allergies have been horrible this year. Been taking two different antihistamines but still had issues. My doctor suggested this, noting that xylitol can kill bacteria that cause infections. So I tried it. Not only did it help clear my sinuses, but allowed me to go back to one antihistamine. Since xylitol is sweet if it goes down your throat, it is sweet. When ti does, it also helps break up the mucous in your throat - so I was able to stop taking mucinex...
This worked great, on day #1 of my cold. I sprayed once in each nostril. My sinuses cleared in 20 minutes, and I felt very hopeful. On day #2 of my cold, I sprayed 5 times (2 spritzes each nostril, 5 times that day). It didn't do a thing other than moisten my nose and taste sweet as it went down my throat. The sprayer also seemed to be spinning a bit and got stuck. I had to move it around to get it to push down and spray - not an easy thing to do when you're already sick and miserable and don't want to mess with anything too fussy. On day #3, I broke out in the tiny pimples I get on my face when I have eaten something with high fructose corn syrup in it. I am very strict in my diet because I know I break out from certain foods, and I am 10000% sure I didn't have anything else besides this spray that was new or different. I know this stuff is somehow processed from corn, but I didn't think it was a true "sugar". I researched and couldn't find anything mentioning that Xlear has made anyone break out, but I'm just putting this out there for people to read. Since no one else has really complained of this happening, consider me the crazy reviewer and move on, but if you suffer from acne from hfcs exposure, use this cautiously.
I woke up several weeks ago in the middle of the night with severe sinus pain and difficulty breathing. I stumbled into the bathroom and squirted XLEAR twice into each nostril and the results were almost immediate, my sinus pain and congestion were rapidly relieved, and I started breathing easily again. I was able to go back to sleep, but the next morning I decided to research why XLEAR had been so effective. One of the things I found out was that many viruses (including SARS=COV-2) must glycosylate with sugars before they can enter the cellular matrix. I looked at the formulation for glucose Vs xylitol (a component of XLEAR) and found that they were chemically very similar, and both had the potential to glycosylate with viruses. In addition, I read that XLEAR’s researchers have done some interesting studies that indicate XLEAR’s potential therapeutic value for the pandemic. I believe that the xylitol possibly binds with a virus’s spike protein and since xylitol does not metabolize in cells it would essentially immobilize viruses, so viral load is reduced or eliminated before the virus can regenerate. I don’t know whether I had early onset COVID, flu or some other irritant, but I have been very healthy my entire life and having an instantaneous reaction is very unusual. The upshot is that I now use XLEAR whenever I think I have been compromised by exposure in contagious situations. If I think I have been exposed, I squirt a couple of times in each nostril or sometimes I use it as prophylactically. I am vaccinated but use XLEAR as a means of potentially reducing viral load in case of breakthrough infection.
