This is going to be a test. I washed the entire car (2014 malibu) as usual using regular Meguairs car wash. I spritzed the passenger side with the usual Meg quick wax and buffed it with usual terry cloth towel (10 min). Then on the driver side I used Meg clay pad/ceramic detailer prep kit per instructions (abt 1 hr). Then used the liquid Meg hybrid ceramic liquid wax with applicator pad and microfiber buffing (abt 1.5 hr). I can feel the difference but I cannot see much difference yet. I will try to update with a photo in a few weeks. update... It has been two weeks. Purposely left car outside in rain and light snow. see second photo. I cannot tell much difference.
