I've had these on for about 500 miles and they seem to be wearing reasonably well and uniformly. At the price point, these are an ideal fit for sport touring with an emphasis on sport. Great shape and grip giving more confidence through range of lean angles with uniform progression. Probably the best summary would be to say these might sacrifice some modest amount of mileage or longevity but you more than make up for that in grip and confidence. If you do mostly highway commute/touring, probably there's better tires, bit if you mix it up a bit and ride a sportier bike, these should be very high on your list of tires to consider. (Ninja 1000)

Dated 2018, I've been running these tires for a about 4 years and I love them. Normally go through a tire a year, with about 15,000 miles a tire.
Big improvement over my shinko. Great on trails and the track and much more confidence inspiring.
This is a great off road tire. However, if you're doing any freeway driving to get to those dirt roads, be careful. At 70 to 80 MPH the front tire would begin that catastrophic wobble on my KLR650. I never let it get away from me, but it greatly reduced my confidence in the bike. Taking minor bumps on the freeway, or passing a big truck, would start the wobble. Often, I would cant the bike to stabilize it while in heavy traffic instead of slowing down. Having a pillion on the rear Dunlop tire solved the wobble at high speeds, surprisingly. But, while solo, other riders would watch me constantly correct the bike, even before the noticable wobble. Replaced it with a tire that stays correct to high speeds and dampens the wobble instead of how this tire amplified it.
Gave the tires a good run on a 2012 DRZ 400. Riding at Stoddard Wells, near Victorville California, the tires did very well on the hard pack. I hit one very steep hill; hard pack and huge rocks. The tires performed as good as any on my past MX bikes. Granted the DRZ is a heavy trail bike so the harder MX riding I put the bike and the tires through surprised me at the performance. As one reviewer stated, in loose sand the tires are unstable. But the stuff I was riding through was several inches deep and very dry and I had about 23 PSI (too much air) in each. I can't blame the tires entirely as the DRZ is a heavy bike and I am running the stock suspension; front travel is mushy regardless of the tires. Landing off of a whoop caused the front to depress deep into the sand; but again I come in at 205 and the bike has a ton of weight up front. When I bush-wacked in the hard pack through the desert, I had a blast. Riding on the street is great. Again, I didn't suspect the tires to do well. But they hold well on turns after break-in. My first few street miles the tires were slick; had to watch it on turns. I have about 500 on the tires and they seem to be wearing fine. I will buy them again. On a side note the DRZ is a great bike for an old man (55) like me and the tires complimented the bike and my riding ability.

I Bought these (front and rear) back in November and just finally got them put on yesterday. You can definitely feel the knobbies at low speeds but at 30-40 I don't notice them at all. I'm going on a 200+ mile ride this weekend which is 80% 60mph highway and 20% jeep trail with a couple of KLR's so I'm looking forward to running away from them on the dirt :) I also noticed the lack of traction on the road compared the stock Trailwings which were like a street tire on the road. Braking is more prone to loss of traction and it doesn't feel nearly as stable in a 20-30mph 90 degree turn although it has not slipped out on me. I ride a DRZ-400s
These tires are great for rough terrain. A bit noisier than I thought they would be. But for the traction I get in the pastures, I can handle a little noise.
