This is the real stuff, not fake. Great price and I go through lots of this sauce, used to buy the larger bottles from BJ's but can't get the large ones anymore there. I keep the large bootees it in my Fridge in basement to keep it fresh and pour it into my other bottles as I need it.

Accidentally bought this instead of the regular flavor. Most disappointing steak experience thus far. If you like ketchup on your meat then this is for you.
Just bought a bottle at the store because it was on sale. I didn't take much notice of the words thick and hearty, I thought they had just changed the packaging. For a treat I bought a real nice steak too. Buying steak is a special occasion, It is expensive and I buy A1 because I like it the best. I would never dream they would change the recipe! It was awful. Didn't they learn from Coke? Don't create a whole new recipe for an already successful and famous brand. People pay a premium for consistency and unique taste they have come to expect from a-1. To add insult to injury, the new sauce tastes like catsup!! Really?, I can go and buy spicy catsup anytime! I don't want that, I want my regular A1 Back!

Nice sweet flavor, great for a steak marinade. Love how care was taken to insure a safe arrival. Bottles just placed in box without protection... Bottles broken and what a mess...
I usually make my own tartar sauce but on occasion will use the grocery store bottled kind. I was quite happy with the taste of this. It had many of the ingredients I use and it wasn't skimpy with them. This is a tasty sauce for Friday fish sammies.

Great flavor and thickness
I must be used to very AUTHENTIC, cajun, creole brands made by and for folks who fish, eat fish, cook fish, LOVE fish! This isn't terrible tasting, it's just not tartar sauce to go along with and make your fish, or other seafood fried food better or fun to eat. I did 'doctor' it up with hot sauce to use as a dip for french fries and spread across turkey burgers as kind of a new style 'thousand island' dressing. No one should not have to do that though. Most in-house items by Amazon/Happy Belly are pretty spot on and feel like a win-win because of the price points. Hopefully Amazon rethinks this item, because again it doesn't taste bad, just doesn't hit the mark.
