The bottom of the steamer basket is no longer flat after 3 use. It becomes a waiver shape since some places got pushed up due to expansion of the bamboo. I do not recommend it if you are planning to use it for big buns because there is not enough room in between the steamers.

After years preparing Chinese dumplings at home, I finally bought a bamboo steamer for xiaolongbao. The steamer is even bigger than I was expecting and comes bottom liners, chopsticks and sauce bowls, which are in the description but I somehow overlooked and were a nice surprise. The size is ideal for larger meals.
I absolutely love this bamboo steamer! It was extremely easy to use and my dumplings came out perfectly steamed.
