I use a lot of Makita cordless tools so the battery interchange was a plus. It could have had a couple of more brushes etc. than just the floor and corner attachment. Overall pleased with it, gets the job done in the car, at the jobsite, I like my Makita cordless stuff.

Not a bad vacuum, basically a dust buster with more power. It is a little smaller than I thought it was going to be - not the best for standing and vacuuming (I'm tall) - great for stairs. I got the kit for $99 probably worth it for that price, probably not at much more than that. This is not a Dyson cordless vacuum replacement, but I guessing it is going to last a lot longer than my Dyson did and for about a third of the price, plus swapping batteries is actually possible.

Works better than I hoped. I thought of buying a corded stick vac because they were so much less expensive but my husband is a Makita tool user and recommend I try this. I am so glad I did. The amount of dust and cat fur it picks up daily is just amazing. I don't even see all the dust and fur but when I empty the canister I am shocked. It is light weight, easy to maneuver, easy to change attachments, easy to empty. I cannot say enough great things about this. I am just so happy. I enjoy cleaning my floors every day. When I used to sweep, the cat fur just went flying. Now, I just suck it up and it does not escape and go flying through the air. I wish I had invested in one a long time ago. I will be buying one for my husband to use at work since he already has Makita chargers.
I have the Milwaukee M12 compact handheld vaccum, and was super disappointed with it's performance. That's what led me to this Makita one. It outperforms the Milwaukee on every level. I like to keep it in my car and use it once a day after my commute. Keeps the carpet looking great. I will be buying one for all my vehicles. The extension and pointed nozzle get down between the seats and the center console really well, suction power is great, and the battery time is around 15-20 minutes of continuous operation. I did purchase a backup 3.0AH battery just in case. The only aspect I don't like is that you have to keep your finger on the trigger for the vaccum to remain on. Milwaukee's vacuum let's you lock the trigger in place and keep the vacuum running as you work. I highly recommend this product for keeping around the house/in the car for picking up small food messes, kitty litter spills, or anything else as long as it's dry!

This is a lightweight vacuum. If you have shag carpets and miles of them. This is not for you. Its for easy breezy cleaning of hardwoods and tiled areas. Get the cyclone attachment so you don't have to wash the fabric filters as much.
