We use this more as a space heater, but it warms the entire room very well. The thermostat works well to maintain the temp, and we enjoy the look. It may not be totally realistic, but it's pretty and ads nice ambiance. Some say the fan is loud, but having had a blower on our fireplace prior to moving, it's no more of a noise than that.
Our downstairs living room has always been very cold in the winter. We bought this workhorse and love everything about it. Sure it takes time to warm up the room at first (about and hour or two) but once it gets going, it warms our living room perfectly and it stays that way. The unit itself is attractive, has beautiful faux fire settings (changes the look of the fire), and has multiple temp settings. We were very skeptical at first but are now totally sold on it. Cons: Temperature regulation is not accurate. If you set it to 62 or 82, it's going to get really hot. The only difference is how long the actual heater remains on with the fan but 62 is Def not 62. It's hot. Only heats straight in front of it. You have to turn it to get the are you want. Like I said, love this product! Would be great in rv, camper, house, apartment, bedroom, bathroom and even garage.
These are great however the controls are useless because u can't hardly see them to make changes. We had to turn on lights. They don't light up like our last one and the remote works well but you can't adjust the temp on it. It's either on or off. You have to manually adjust it on the unit itself. If they woukd fix these issues I would give it 5 stars. Not sure on efficiency, haven't gotten electric bill but I love that it has a 9 hr timer and thermostat and safety power off features to keep u from burning down ur home. We got two of these for our kids rooms and love the colors.
I do not understand how you can sell a already very badly dented product as a new product...... If someone can explain to me what kind of business is that??? After 2 weeks the product arrived with a big dent on it. If I knew the condition I would not have bought it but it was advertised as a NEW......... This is Monkey Business with Zero trust from now on
We use this heater for our basement apartment and it does a great job heating but the remote doesn’t work half the time which is frustrating and the controls on the heater are difficult to read !!

I needed to supplement the heat in our 100 year-old beach cottage. I saw a review of this space heater in the Wall Street Journal. It looked and sounded wonderful. Bought it. LOVE it. The fireplace effect is amazingly realistic. The heat generated is perfect, and easily controlled. The casing of the unit stays cool - a big plus with small children around. What I love most is that the "wood-burning" fireplace effect can be kept live even with no heating! There's something so relaxing about the sight of a flickering wood fire. So now we will have that wonderful feeling even in the summer when the AC is on. Absolutely LOVE it. No assembly required (other than simply attaching the legs). We don't use the remote control. Using the hidden icon controls on the unit is so easy - and fun.
