This is absolute garbage. Cannot even dilute the taste. It’s like a mix of rubber and antifreeze. Total trash.
When acquired in Mexico, Don Julio easily wins the battle for superiority with Patron for the title of smoothest premium tequila. It is more cost-effective, and more delicious. However, it has been my experience that Don Julio tends to take on on a sour taste when purchased from American stores. This may be due to extensive exposure to sun and heat during shipping to said stores. In its purest form, this tequila is world-class. I am somewhat skeptical of purchasing it from the internet due to shipping-related integrity issues. However, I will submit an additional review upon receiving this product via the lowest priced seller. In the meantime, viva Don Julio.
