I have a very old projector at work. I thought at first it was just the projector not wanting to connect to my computer, but the adaptor has stopped working all together. I borrowed a different adaptor from someone else, and it worked just fine. I wish I would have realized it from the beginning because now it's too late to return. I'm a teacher, so I don't get much money to spend in my classroom. $12 might not seem like much, but to me it is. I won't be purchasing one from this company again.
This connector did not work to connect my new 2018 Mac Mini to my 2012-era monitor. I ordered a new monitor...still stone cold dead. I ordered a different connector from BH Photovideo, and was up and running. But with the delays waiting for monitor and new connector, time the return window had closed. I hope you have better luck than I did.

I wouldn't recommend buying this. I saw it because it was cheap and cheap is what I had gotten. My second monitor is hooked up to it from my laptop. The second monitor continues to in and out. I thought it was my monitor cable and switched it out for another. To no avail it doesn't work properly.
