I thought this had a weird taste. I found a brand at costco that is a much larger bottle for a lot less and it doesn't have a weird taste.

This is the first time i've tried an avocado oil and i have to say that so far, this is a fantastic brand oil. I bought this after hearing about the great benefits of avocado oil and i am very pleased with this product. Unlike most on here, i've used this more for the face and hair and have had great results with it. The packaging is really nice and the size is great for the value (they only sell the 6 oz ounce version in my area). The only thing i'd say that might be a negative is that the top can get a bit messy, since with the way the spout is formed, it can drip from the back and down to the surrounding lid, but it isn't too much of a big deal for me. So, if you're going to travel with some of it, i would suggest putting it in another glass or plastic bottle if you're gonna stuff it in a suitcase. After washing my face, i rub and pat a small amount of the oil onto my face and it traps the moisture in my face nicely. In the morning, my face feels extremely soft and moisturized. I also put a quarter-sized amount of it on my damp hair after conditioning along with my leave-in cream, as i have very dry, curly hair, and it helps trap in the moisture and give it a nice shine. It also distributes the vitamins that are jammed packed within avocado. A lot of people like coconut oil for this, but coconut oil is, unfortunately, too light for my hair. This stuff does the trick, though. A very effective, multi-purpose oil.

The best oils to use for your cooking are Avocado, Coconut, and Olive depending on the cooking temperature. I like the fact that it is in a tin instead of plastic. The light does not get to it and keeps it for a longer period of time.
High quality oil, but is not refined, so it does not have the high heat tolerance that refined avocado oil is known for. This unrefined oil is good for low to medium heat.
