It's really not loud at all. To get some volume you have to use the echo effect and even with that, it's not that loud. I did enjoy using said microphone but, I was disappointed in the overall purchase due to its exorbitant price and subpar performance. <3 <3 <3

This thing is LOUD. Why is my 9 year old sister's microphone louder than my own speaker? It is awesome. You can turn the volume all the way up and the speaker wont sound bad. I am probably going to purchase one for myself. Its that good. I thought it was going to be one of those cheap low volume microphones but nope. My sister and my not so young self were fighting over who got to sing cinderella by the cheetah girls
I believe this was the Christmas sleeper hit. Although gifted to tweens... EVERYONE wanted a turn on the mic! The sound quality is great, battery life has been good, soooo many options & the price was great! Even comes in a carrying case.
